Enlightening, entertaining and inspiring, All About Charleston’s “Adventures in History” brings the history of our nation to life. During this customized tour, guests are guided through the events that led up to the American Civil War.  Your experience begins in 1860!  Experience Charleston’s Civil War history!  Between a great fire and Union bombardment, devastation and destruction are everywhere. Heavy smoke lingers in the air. And yet this city where the Ordinance of Secession was signed in 1860 survives… now more beautiful than ever.  Visit famous sites and see actual photographs of Charleston from this era while standing in the same spots as the original photographer in 1865.
